Sometimes you need access to services in order to allow you to look for work in the first place or overcome barriers to work. Workforce centers are there to administer services and help you navigate the job search. You can use them for things like:

  • Building a resume for the first time
  • Finding child support
  • Seeking a workplace accommodation resources


Locally in Austin, we work closely with Workforce Solutions Capital Area. Nationally we partner with workforce centers across the country and you can find a directory of them on CareerOneStop.

Get Trained

Accessing training is vital to being able to find a job that pays well and compliments your talents. You don’t always need to get an expensive degree to accomplish this either! 

We are proud to announce our partnership with Metrix Learning to offer free training to help our current employees and future perspective employees develop basic skills or expand their current knowledge.

Metrix learning offers hundreds of courses online for a self-guided learning experience. Choose courses that appeal to you or enroll in one of our learning tracks, such as:

  • Job seeking skills
  • Administrative support
  • Accounting and bookkeeping
  • Customer service skills
  • Purchasing
  • Exploring information technology

Did you know that 75% of jobs are filled via networking? While getting out there and meeting people can be intimidating, Peak Performers has partnered with Launch Pad Job Club to help job seekers across the country get connected to peers, job coaches, and companies looking to hire. If you need someone to look over your resume, practice interviewing, or ask questions about navigating the job search, there’s no better place to turn, especially in their chat room sessions!

Additionally, many job seekers may struggle emotionally and motivationally throughout the process. Launch Pad can help you keep your spirits up and focus on!

Launch Pad Job Club meets once a week, Fridays at 10 a.m. CST. First time attendees should show up at 9:30 a.m. for new member orientation. The first Friday of every month happens in Austin at the Ben Hur Shrine Center. All other Fridays are hosted virtually via zoom.
