This is why we’re here

The Centers for Disease Control estimates more than 1 in 4 American adults has a diagnosed disability. And yet fewer than 4% disclose that to their employer. Professionals with disabilities experience unemployment at twice the national rate — and that doesn't count the many who are underemployed, settling for less out of fear of losing what little they have.

This is why Peak Performers exists.

Most of the professionals we work with have never disclosed a disability or chronic condition to an employer. And honestly? We get it. The risk feels too great.

But imagine a hiring process where your disability works for you, not against you. Where your supervisor understands accommodations and knows how to make them work. Where you can have an honest conversation about what you need — without worrying about how it will be received. Where you're not just employed, but empowered to do your best work.

That's what we're here to build.

You’re our priority

Many individuals don’t think of themselves as “disabled,” and yet they meet the criteria set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

A disability is an impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, a record of such an impairment, or being regarded as having such an impairment. A disability may affect you physically, mentally, or emotionally. Sometimes a disability is visible; more often, it’s not.

We here to understand your unique needs and support your success.

Priority

We identify the most qualified candidates for every role, then give priority to those with disabilities. Nearly all of the candidates we place have one or more disability. Many have never disclosed it to an employer before working with us.

Proof of your disability

Once you are hired, you will be asked to send us proof of your disability. In many cases, a doctor’s note is sufficient.

Privacy

Your information, including information about your disability, is kept confidential at Peak. It is never shared with the client or your onsite supervisor.

Accommodation

Our team can facilitate a disability accommodation at any stage, whether you're still in the hiring process or already on assignment.

Who do you know who is looking for work?

Many of the individuals we employ are referred to us through our vast network of active employees, former employees, clients, and community partners. We welcome referrals from individuals as well as from other organizations.

Looking to refer someone, but not sure how to ask them if they have a disability? Don’t worry; we’ll take care of that part. We share information about our mission with every candidate as part of our interview process.

Let’s work together

We recruit for temporary, contract-to-hire, and direct hire administrative, finance, information technology, and executive-level jobs.
