This is why we’re here

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) estimates more than 1 in every 4 American adults has a diagnosed disability. And yet, studies show that less than 4% disclose their disability to their employer. People with disabilities experience unemployment at a rate 2x the national figure--and this isn’t even counting those who are underemployed, settling for less out of fear of being unemployed.

This is why Peak Performers exists.

Individuals with disabilities receive priority in our hiring process. Most of the professionals we work with have never disclosed a disability or chronic condition to their employer. Why would you? It’s too big of a risk.

Imagine being screened into a hiring process because of your disability--not screened out. Imagine working with a supervisor who has extensive experience with disability accommodations. Imagine having confidential conversations about your disability-related needs, without fear of anyone treating you differently.

Imagine being empowered to thrive at work in ways you never thought possible.

You’re our priority

Many individuals don’t think of themselves as “disabled,” and yet they meet the criteria set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

A Disability is an impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, a record of such an impairment, or being regarded as having such an impairment. A disability may affect you physically, mentally, or emotionally. Sometimes a disability is visible; more often, it’s not.

We here to understand your unique needs and support your success.

Priority

We identify the most qualified candidates for a role, then give priority to those with disabilities. Almost all of the candidates we send to our clients have one or more disability.

Proof of your disability

Once you are hired, you will be asked to send us proof of your disability. In many cases, a doctor’s note is sufficient.

Privacy

Your information, including information about your disability, is kept confidential at Peak. It is never shared with the client or your onsite supervisor.

Accommodation

Our skilled staff can facilitate a disability accommodation at any point, whether it’s during the hiring process or while you’re employed on a Peak assignment. Just ask us!

Our process

Our customers’ hiring needs are urgent, and so is your job search. Our hiring process is designed to balance efficiency and human connection, regardless of the job you’re applying for.

Submit your resume

It all starts with our team receiving your resume. You’ll receive an email confirming that your resume was received.

Resume review

We’re constantly seeking top talent for our open jobs. Your resume just might make our day.

Remote interview

If your resume matches our client’s needs, we’ll schedule a quick call with you. This low-stress interview is a chance to review your skills, needs, and goals together.

Skills testing

Some of our jobs and clients require computer or software assessments. We won’t ask you to take a skills test unless it’s required for a job you’re interested in.

Client interview

Most of our clients will interview candidates prior to making a hiring selection. Our team helps you prepare for the interview and shares any feedback we receive.

Digital onboarding

Once you’re selected for a job, we begin our fast, 100% digital employee onboarding process. We’re here to help for every step of the way.

Who do you know who is looking for work?

Many of the individuals we employ are referred to us through our vast network of active employees, former employees, clients, and community partners. We welcome referrals from individuals as well as from other organizations.

Looking to refer someone, but not sure how to ask them if they have a disability? Don’t worry; we’ll take care of that part. We share information about our mission with every candidate as part of our interview process.

Let’s work together

We recruit for temporary, contract-to-hire, and direct hire administrative, finance, information technology, and executive-level jobs.
